Project Overview

Unimetal has launched the installation of the first Continuous Coil Coating Line (CCL) in the Caucasus — a landmark step for Azerbaijan’s metal industry and regional production capacity.

After a competitive technical review process involving several international suppliers,
The Bronx Group was awarded the contract for the design, supply, manufacture, installation supervision, commissioning, technology transfer, and operator training of the new line.

Line type: Single Pass 40 m/min Continuous Coil Coating Line
Thickness range: 0.14 mm – 0.8 mm
Coil width: up to 1250 mm
Annual capacity: 50,000 tonnes

The line includes Bronx-designed Prime and Finish Gas-Fired Convection Ovens, a Pre-Cleaning Section, and the Quick Change U-Wrap Finish Coater, which enables rapid color changes without stopping production. All major components are manufactured in the European Union to meet the highest quality standards and produce premium-grade coil-coated steel using Polyester, PE Matt, PE Wrinkle Matt, and PVDF coatings.
