Bronx designs and manufactures a range of high-quality Strip Joiners for continuous coil coating lines. The Bronx Strip Joiner is a low-maintenance, self-contained unit capable of producing a fast, robust joint in a range of strip materials and thicknesses.

The Bronx Strip Joiner is very robust in design, providing the capacity to join thicknesses up to 2 mm (0.08″) and widths to 1550 mm (59.05″). The die is designed in sections to minimise maintenance. The stitch pattern has been engineered to provide maximum strength while minimising the possibility of damage to any rolls throughout the process line.

We have opened up the die area to give operators excellent visibility of the die — a problem recognised and solved by our Technology team.

Each machine comes complete with a hydraulic power unit, including pumps, integral oil reservoir, motor, starter, and joining die. Alternatively, we can remove the hydraulic power unit should an existing power supply be available.

Bronx is a distributor for the Strip-LOK™ Portable Strip Joiner. The Strip-LOK™ Sheet Metal Strip Joiner is a portable machine that is compact and lightweight — ideal for use in tight or hard-to-reach areas. It’s a fast, safe, and effective way to rejoin torn strip and resume production quickly.

The joiner can be easily operated by one person. It runs on compressed air, so it can be used wherever an air outlet is available. No staples or consumables are needed. The torn ends of the strip are simply overlapped, and with one trigger press, the Strip-LOK™ creates a high-strength join in just two seconds.
