Recoiler Mandrel for Aluminium Process Line

A new recoiler mandrel designed and supplied by Bronx Group has been successfully commissioned in Norway. This is the most recent supply to an established customer with whom Bronx has enjoyed a successful working relationship spanning in excess of 40 years.

This 10 tonne capacity mandrel was designed to fully integrate with an existing recoiler and outboard bearing within the customer’s slitting/rewind process line. Utilising an integral gripper slot or cardboard spools and belt wrapper, this mandrel is capable of processing Aluminium of between 0.3mm to 3.0mm thickness.
