Bronx Recuperative Thermal Oxidisers use a durable metallic air-to-air heat exchanger to preheat oven exhaust gases before they enter the oxidation chamber. Typical preheat temperatures range between 300°C and 500°C, depending on the heat exchanger size.
While systems with higher preheat temperatures may require more upfront investment, they deliver substantial savings in fuel consumption and operating costs over the system’s lifetime. After pre-heating, gases pass through the burner chamber and reach the VOC destruction chamber, achieving the necessary 760°C and dwell time for complete pollutant breakdown.
