Bronx Awarded Order For  Colour Coating Line in Azerbaijan

Unimetal, Azerbaijan has recently awarded Bronx International  with an order for the design, supply, manufacture, supervision of installation, commissioning, transfer of production technology and full operator training for a Continuous Colour Coating Line.

Unimetal is one of the largest companies in the region engaged in the trade and manufacturing of metal production.

Bronx’s 75 years of experience in process lines and  comprehensive Colour Coating Line reference list was a major influence in awarding the contract.

The Bronx Colour Coating Line is a Single Pass 30m/min Continuous Colour Coating Line with thickness capability ranging from 0.14mm to 0.8mm and coil width up to 1250mm. The line will be capable of producing up to 45,000 tonnes per annum.

The line has Bronx designed and built Prime and Finish Gas Fired Convection Ovens.  The line is equipped with Pre-cleaning and Bronx state of the art ‘Quick Change U-Wrap Finish Coater’ (for quick colour change, without stopping the line).

The  line produces prime yield colour coated coils with paints such as Polyesters, PE Matt , PE Matt Wrinkle  and PVDF.

Installation and Commissioning of the Colour Coating Line will be managed by  the Bronx Site Management and Production Technology teams.

The new line, affectionately called BIG BAKU, is located close to the City of Baku.   The Bronx Team look forward to working with Unimetal and wish them every success in their new venture.
